UTF-8 characters are garbled in the TRACE32 List window when displaying C source code. How can this be resolved?

  • TRACE32 releases R.2022.02 and earlier do not fully support UTF-8-encoded source files and may display certain non-ASCII characters incorrectly or as garbled text.

  • TRACE32 releases R.2022.09 and later provide improved support for UTF-8-encoded source files.

Therefore, upgrading to the latest TRACE32 release is recommended. If upgrading to the latest release is not possible, use at least TRACE32 release R.2022.09.
