What type of power supply should I use with my PowerDebug/PowerTrace module?

When your TRACE32 hardware is delivered, it includes one of the following power supplies:

  • Wall Mount Power Supply – Provided with the PowerDebug Module (USB interface only) and the µTrace®.

  • Desktop Power Supply – Provided with the PowerDebug PRO, PowerTrace II, and PowerTrace Serial.

It is essential to use only the power supply provided with your TRACE32 hardware. For more details, please refer to the TRACE32 Installation Guide.

Additionally, you can find technical specifications by searching for “Wall Mount Power Supply” or “Desktop Power Supply” on the Lauterbach website.

PowerTrace Module Power Supply Considerations:

PowerTrace modules have a dedicated power supply socket. However, when a single PowerTrace module is connected to a PowerDebug module, an additional power supply is not required. A separate power supply is only necessary when multiple PowerTrace modules are connected to the same PowerDebug module.
