Hello,
I have debugger LA-3505 with LS-3743 cable. Is it sufficient for debugging TDA4VH (especially R5F cores)? What license would I need for R5F?

Best regards,

Hello Wojciech,

Your debug cable, the LA-3743, comes with a Cortex-A/R (Armv8 and Armv9) license.

If you want to debug TDA4VH Cortex R5F, you will need to add LA-7843X extension license for Cortex-A/R Armv7 to your debug cable. Additionally, the LA-7844X extension license for Cortex-M might be needed.

If you need any further assistance, please do not hesitate to reach out.

Hi, Thank you for clarification. Can you please confirm that LA-7843X extension license will work with sets: 1. LA-3505 + LA-3743 2. LA-3503 + LA-3255 What I need is to debug software for R5F cores on TDA4VH. Both sets have already LA-7844X license programmed. Best regards, Wojciech Romanski

Hello Wojciech,

Yes, I confirm that. You just need to add LA-7843X to your debug cables  LA-3743 and LA-3255 and you will be able to debug R5F cores using these sets.

You can contact our sales team at sales@lauterbach.com to get the license.

Best Regards,

Yosr Abid.
