Window overlap in T32 when using winpos with percent argument Awaiting Agent

Hello,
Using the simple attached script, I expect having a perfect tiling of 5 widows:
top left quarter, bottom left quarter, top right quarter, and two windows in the bottom right corner.

What happends is that the vertical positioning is broken. The top of a window overlaps with the bottom of another. Cf. Attached image.

The script uses only cd.pedit areas, but when using other contents, like registers, the vertical size is wrong.

Is there something that I am doing wrong ?

Version info :
TRACE32 for PowerPC
Release Feb 2024 SP1 (64-bit)
Software Version: R.2024.02.000168999

I Did not see fixes in latest release history.

Thanks for your advices.

Hello Pierre,

Your inquiry has been brought to our attention, and we will try to improve the tiling of windows in the future.

For now, the only workaround is to use 48% or 49% instead of 50% to optimize the tiling of windows and avoid overlapping.

You can also save your window tiling settings by clicking Window => Store Windows, to avoid re-writing the tiling scripts each time.

Thank you for reaching out,

Best regards,

Hello, thanks for workarounds, but none can apply : I am using these scripts on various screen configurations and sizes. Fixed ratios by storing current tiling can apply only if my screens also have fixed ratios, which is not the case in general (I already tried, btw). Thanks for answering, though. Hopefully you will add this issue to your bug tracker. Regards, PMZ
