Sometimes I use following workflow when analyzing trace:

1. Configure Sort (Nesting) with Sort visible (Window) in Chart Config
2. Zoom in to point of interest. The most active symbols will appear on the top. Manually pin the relevant symbols (using “Pin to top” and Drag&Drop)
3. Zoom out to se the interaction pattern of pinned symbols in larger time perspective.

The problem is that the order needs to be set manually. Can not be reused between work sessions (or different trace windows). Would be nice if pin order could be saved as practice script file and reloaded where needed.

A partial work-around is possible by using custom groups (group.list can be stored and reloaded), but setting up groups is still time consuming. Would be much nice if the “pinned” order could be saved/reloaded.
